CEO, Conscious Group
Robbert Weddepohl is CEO of Conscious Group, which includes Conscious Hotels and Hotel V, and is responsible for the group’s nine hotels across Amsterdam and beyond. He previously served as COO at Van der Valk International and Group Director Venues at Stage Entertainment, giving him a rare vantage point across hospitality, entertainment and large-scale venue operations.
Beyond Conscious Group, Robbert serves on the International Board of Directors of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the world’s largest meetings and events association, where he champions sustainability and inclusive leadership across the global events industry. He previously led as Chapter President and served as liaison to MPI’s Sustainability Advisory Council, work that continues to shape how he thinks about governance, representation and long-term industry change.
Robbert combines an entrepreneurial vision with a hands-on leadership style, with sustainable hospitality, scalable growth, and genuinely inclusive leadership at the core of his agenda; not as separate priorities, but as one and the same challenge.
