Vice President, Sustainability at BCD Travel
Olivia is the Vice President of Sustainability at BCD Travel. She joined the company in November 2022 and is responsible for BCD’s social and environmental sustainability programs. Previously, she was a Director at Greenview and worked with international clients on their sustainability and ESG programmes and spearheaded the company’s industry engagement work. She authored the recently launched ‘Net Zero Roadmap for Events’, as well as methodologies for measuring plastics and waste in hotels and was a co-author of the ‘Net Zero Methodology for Hotels’. Prior to her role at Greenview, Olivia was in charge of policy, strategy and sustainability at the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Passionate about sustainability in the travel industry, she spearheaded collaborative initiatives to develop the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative, understand and manage ‘overtourism’, address climate change and stop illegal wildlife trade, as well as launching and leading the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards.
