Group HR Director at Hotelplan
Nicky is the UK Group HR Director for Hotelplan UK; a specialist group of travel brands (Explore Worldwide, Inghams, Inntravel and Santa’s Lapland). Her HR journey began post-university, discovering her passion for people and culture after travelling and working in different countries. With a background in retail, she transitioned to the retail travel industry at World Duty-Free, where she worked across Europe and North America. Since 2017, she’s been a driving force at Hotelplan, leading people initiatives that drive inclusive and responsible behaviours and is on a journey to achieve B Corp certification for all brands after Explore Worldwide became accredited this year. As the first woman on the UK Board, she champions diversity and inclusion, championing a more equitable future. Off-duty, she shares her life with her wife of 14 years and dogs, creating adventures in their old camper called Nellie. Nicky loves second-hand shopping and gardening, reflecting her other passion for sustainable life choices.
