I attended my first IWTTF last year where I chaired a panel on inclusivity and was so motivated by the people I met throughout the day. There was a brilliant atmosphere in a room full of people who’ve taken the time to invest in wanting to make the travel industry better, and I wanted to be part of that again. I learnt tons from the different discussions too. As someone who spends their job thinking about language and how we communicate, this particular panel on age/ageism in the industry, be it recruitment or marketing or in travel writing itself, is of particular interest and I’m looking forward to a good discussion!
