Resort Manager, Nukubati - Great Sea Reef
My name is Lara Meliki Vokai. I am 32 years old and of Australian and Fijian heritage. I am the property and resort manager at our family resort, Nukubati Resort www.nukubati.com, an eco-dive resort. I have been educated in both Australia and Fiji but finished my high school and tertiary education in Fiji. I am very passionate about nature, specifically native coastal rainforest ecosystems as well as traditional Fijian knowledge and holistic healing. Because of these passions, I made the decision at the age of 27 to live on Nukubati and take over our family resort where I can combine business and natural environment and cultural conservation together. When I’m not in the office, you can find me in my vegetable garden or out on the sea taking photographs of unique coral fauna.
