Managing Director, Education For All Morocco (EFAM)
Samira El Hachioui is Managing Director of Education For All Morocco (EFAM). Since 2007 the charity has funded education for girls from Morocco’s most geographically isolated and marginalised communities, and today supports over 700 girls in full-time education across mountain boarding houses, a university transition programme, and specialist education for young people with Down syndrome.
Moroccan by heritage, Dutch by upbringing, and a Londoner by choice for over twenty years, Samira spent her earlier career in capital markets and fintech before stepping full-time into EFAM in 2024. She campaigns on a single, stubborn idea: that one generation of education is enough to change every generation that follows.
